About Athens

Athens, the capital of Greece, a city full of cultural heritage, picturesque historical neighborhoods and museums with rare exhibits. The Sacred Rock of the Acropolis, a symbol of Athens, dominates the city center and is visible from every angle.

Arriving there, the Parthenon, a temple made entirely of Pentelic marble, the Erechtheion with the Caryatids steal your first impression.

Looking up from the city, you see monuments standing up against the years like the Olympian Zeus columns and the ancient market. Just below the Acropolis is Herodion. You can enjoy strolling to Filopappou or Plaka, Anafiotika, Monastiraki or Thissio and start tasting traditional Greek cuisine overlooking the Holy Rock.

Continuing your walk, you can reach the Olympian Zeus Columns, Kallimarmaro, the National Garden, the Parliament, the Academy of Athens. Everything is so close that you start a pleasant walk filling the mind with pictures and monuments important to Greek culture art.
